Scott Buck

Assistant Lead Pastor

I was raised in a Christ centered home. At the age of 13 Christ showed me my personal need for Him to save me from my sin. I faithed in Him for my salvation and as the Lord of my life. It has been a great journey walking with Him ever since!

I have served in some capacity of ministry since I was 17, where I started by being a student intern at Grace Place. I have an undergrad from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and am very slowly working on a Masters in Christian Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary.

My lovely wife's name is Leah. We dated through high school and were married at the beginning of my freshman year of college in 2005. We have six awesome kiddos: Timothy, Cadence, Bree, Riley, George and Alice. In addition to our six, Christ has called our family to foster care. Most of the time we have at least one child that we get the opportunity to love on while they are in our home. Christ has truly blessed me with this family to minister to and with.

I enjoy doing almost anything with others. My wife says I am brokenly extroverted. She is probably right. Because of this, my hobbies go from playing music to mountain biking and everything in-between. It also means that I love meeting with people to talk about Christ and walk alongside others as they ask questions and follow Him.
